PROJECT TITLE
The Just-in-Time Toolkit for Managers

OVERVIEW

Employees are 60% more likely to disclose a disability to their supervisor than to human resources. Unfortunately, many supervisors are unprepared to have these conversations. Managers and supervisors need training on disability issues so they will be ready to respond appropriately and involve human resources promptly. If you need your managers and supervisors to support your efforts to increase disability diversity, consider our Leading in an Inclusive Workforce: The Just-in-Time Program.

The Just-in-Time Program offers intensive training and a personalized toolkit to engage your face-to-face leaders (managers and supervisors) in implementing your organization's policies and practices around disability inclusiveness. After an initial training with a core group of professionals in your organization that support implementation of reasonable accommodation policies and practices, your managers can access your customized toolkit any time they have a question or concern about disability issues.

PROJECT ACTIVITIES

A project team works with each organization to create a toolkit for managers within your organization that is customized to your policies, practices, and resources around disability inclusion.
