Michelle joined Cornell University’s Yang-Tan Institute (YTI) in January 2013. She is the project coordinator for the NYS PROMISE grant, a research project funded by U.S. Department of Education. In this role, she provides project coordination and program management support, and participates in developing and delivering program deliverables.
Previously, Michelle worked as a Project Coordinator for the Northeast Beginning Farmer Project at the Cornell Small Farms Program, a project funded by the USDA. Michelle trained as a landscape designer and professional gardener, and has advised on strategic planning and program development for non-profits with historic preservation, conservation and outdoor education missions. Michelle serves as a board member of the Horseheads Historical Society in Horseheads, NY.
