Disclosure, Reasonable Accommodation and the ADA

We are more likely to acquire a disability as we age, but many employed adults are reluctant to disclose a disability. The reasons include fear of termination or of being treated differently by one's employer. This session offers an overview of Title I of the ADA, the employment provisions. It will cover a variety of topics, including disability disclosure, reasonable accommodation in the workplace, and how a working knowledge of the ADA can benefit older adults.
